Turkish Cypriots to Hold November London Rally for Respect and Equality

The Association of Turkish Cypriots Abroad (ATCA) are organising a rally in London on Sunday 27 November 2005. Starting at Whitehall Place, SW1, at 11am, the rally will move through Central London and conclude outside the Turkish Embassy.

Organisers ATCA, who campaign on a platform of ‘Respect , Equality and Recognition’ for North Cyprus, have called on London Turkish Cypriots and sympathisers to march against “the inhumane embargoes” and to call on the British Government to restore the “basic human rights” of the Turkish Cypriot people. The group will be supplying transport from North and South London to the demonstration.
