Join us for our annual protest marking 50 years since Greece’s invasion of Cyprus. This year’s protest will take place outside the Greek Embassy in London on Sunday, 14th July 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
We hold this event every year to raise awareness about the truth: Cyprus was invaded by Greece 10 days before Turkey intervened. Despite facing various adversities, from attempts to stop our protest by painting their gates to blocking access to public footpaths, we remain undeterred. We will continue to show up with banners and our voices to ensure the world knows the real history.
In conjunction with the protest, we are also hosting a family-friendly event, “Chalk Walk Through Holland Park,” just a stone’s throw away from the embassy. Adults who want to attend the protest can leave their children at the Chalk Walk, where they can chalk peaceful pictures and messages to show love and support for North Cyprus.
